Foreign Exchange Reserves in the Bank of Israel, December 2009
|

Israel’s foreign exchange reserves at the end of December 2009 stood at $ 60,617 million, a decline of $ 927 million from their level at the end of November.
The reduction derived from a downward revaluation of the reserves totaling $ 1,028 million and government transfers abroad of $38 million, partially offset by Bank of Israel purchases of $132 million on the market, and $7 million due to private sector activities.
