Report of the Bank of Israel discussions on the interest rate
|
The Bank of Israel publishes the minutes of the discussions regarding the determination of the interest rate. The minutes are published about two weeks after the announcement of the interest rate.
The publication of the minutes of the interest-rate discussions, in the format adopted by the central banks of the advanced economies throughout the world, is intended to increase the transparency of the Bank's interest-rate policy, and together with other of the Bank's publications will enable the public, the Knesset and the government to deepen their understanding of that policy.
